Here is the plan. There are a LOT of runs to make. The seedings should be available via the link below. The I've got to make many runs for the double-elimination tournament and track both the winners and the losers bracket until I have a manageable number of entries for the final head-to-head round.

I will update this page with results as I have them, and thus keep everyone informed as the finals progress over a week or so. YOUR program should be listed in the SEEDINGS file, and then should begin the tounament with a game in STARTING ROUND ZERO. The results will be somewhere in the file for that round (click below on the hotlinked table entries). If you keep winning you'll find your name in the next WINNERS bracket round, if you lose, you'll move to the LOSERS bracket. If you lose a second time - you're GONE! Within each match, highest seeds remaining play the lowest seeds remaining. However, an entry may receive only one BYE, and replaying the same opponent is avoided.

As warned in the wekly mailings, the following could not compete in the finals for various reasons: thumper, easy_win, TaipingTwo, and OXOn.

Last Updated: Thursday afternoon ... Late breaking news: "symmetry" has withdrawn from competition. Because symmetry was one of the final nine, and I'm NOT gonna re-run the elimination tournament, I will simply add the five programs that were beaten by symmetry to the final pool. While I realize that this is arbitrary, it is the decision I have made.
